PROVIDING FOR WATER SUPPLY RELIABILITY

CUWA member agencies are working diligently to provide cost-effective and reliable water supplies. Joint results from the member agencies’ 2010 Urban Water Management Plans demonstrate recent progress and highlight ongoing activities to diversify water portfolios for current and future sustainability.

CUWA developed a Water Supply Reliability Report to demonstrate how CUWA agencies are working individually and with other agencies to improve the reliability of water supplies through investments in water conservation, supply diversification, and system improvements. The Water Supply Reliability Report summarizes past, present, and future actions to improve urban water management among CUWA agencies, including graphical representations and project examples.
